Planning
An essential part of every valuable work is for sure the planning. It is meant to help you to easily achieve a better final result than you would ever obtain without it.Â
After discussing with my mentor and supervisor during our mandatory meetings, we came to the conclusion that organizing and dividing my entire work thanks to the help of a timetable was the best thing to do. So that's what I did: I created my own calendar with all the deadlines regarding the writing of the topics I was going to include in my travel guide to South Korea and I collected sources from where I lately needed to take information.
Taking Action
The first step I took after the production of my planning was to take actions. In order to do that and make everything easier, I divided the topics I wanted to write into section and subtitles. I used several websites from the Internet and some books I borrowed from the library in order to get as much information as possible. This way, I had the possibility to produce a more detailed and satisfactory final product. I can say that at the end, it did answer my reserch question "What should a tourist known before visiting South Korea?" and it matched perfectly with the glogal context me and my supervisor had previously discussed at the beginning of this journey: orientation in space and time.
Criteria
On my Personal Project proposal on Managebac, I had to fill in a section regarding the criterias I was going to use in order to create my final product. The ones I decided to address are the following:
~Including different and as many facts as possible about South Korea and its citizens.
~Creating a little book of around 50 pages that I was then going to print and bond together.
~ It had to be innovative and personal, characterized by a fresh and light writing, suitable for everyone and where I was directly addressing the reader.
Tips & Advices
While working on a quite complex and important project you can always find obstacles during your journey. The one that bothered me the most was the time management because I was convinced I couldn't respect the calendar I created myself.
You can find below some tips and advices that could help you while working on your Personal Project final product development:
Talk and consult with your supervisor who will always be willing to help and advise you.
Time management: do not procrastinate! In my opinion I think that's a mistake that a lot of people may make and for this reason, it is better to start working on your Personal Project during the summer.
If you follow this easy steps you will for sure succeed and be proud of yourself without any stress nor worries. Be creative and good luck!
